Mission Statement
At Limavady Central Primary school we aim to provide each individual with high quality learning experiences in a caring, happy and stimulating environment.
We believe in ‘Putting Children First’. In order to achieve this, we seek;
- To create a healthy and happy school in which everyone feels valued and important.
- To help children develop their independence, self-esteem and self-confidence.
- To encourage children to be self-motivated and develop a positive attitude towards learning so that they are able to respond to challenges, develop enquiring minds and apply themselves to tasks with self-discipline and a developing sense of responsibility for their own actions.
- To provide a stimulating, supportive environment, which helps to address all aspects of the children’s physical, spiritual, moral and cultural development.
- To help children develop a sense of responsibility and caring for the environment and to become more aware of the global community and of how wider environmental issues may involve them.To involve parents in their child’s education and to encourage and develop strong links between the home, the school and the local community.
