Pushing and Pulling in Primary 1 P.E.

As part of Science Week we are investigating how to move things by pushing and pulling. Push and pull are opposite forces, meaning they move objects in different directions.

Pushing moves things further away and pulling brings them closer. We had so much fun today in P.E. trying out lots of different pushes and pulls. We enjoyed pushing the balls to knock down the skittles and bouncing them off the bench. We played a tug of war game where we had to pull the rope. Then we had to get the quoit to the top of the bench by pulling - using the wall bars to make a simple pulling machine!
