Primary 1 have been having lots of fun learning about the emergency services this half term. We've been finding out about fire-fighters and all the jobs they have to do. As you can see our fire-fighters have been busy during the sunny weather, washing the fire engine, checking the equipment and rescuing people. We've even been building fire engines during our Practical Maths sessions - we built ladders tall enough to rescue the trapped pets and wrote down how many ladders we needed. We're very excited about our trip to the fire station next week - we can't wait to meet the fire-fighters and see a real fire engine!
