In Primary One we use 'Jolly Phonics' to help us learn the initial sounds. We love singing along to the songs and joining in with the actions. We can also listen to the JP songs on Seesaw when we get home. We learn to identify, say and write the initial sounds. We also enjoy playing fun phonics games and using the interactive panel during our Literacy lessons. Here's a selection of photos to show you some examples.
