Paramedic visits P5!

27th Sep 2016

This morning Mr Cecil King, paramedic, came to visit the children in Primary 5 to talk to them about how to look after their bodies. He showed us what our hearts actually look like and talked to us about how they work. He demonstrated the special equipment used by the ambulance service to monitor heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen levels. Miss Rankin was a very willing guinea pig and she was officially pronounced to be 'fighting fit'! We thoroughly enjoyed Cecil's visit and we now know lots about how to keep our hearts in 'tip-top condition'! The P5 children and teachers would like to thank Cecil for giving up his time to share his expertise with us. We look forward to hearing from him again in the future!
